Last December, Emily, the lucky winner of our #Londoncitybreak competition took to the big smoke to enjoy her prize - a two night stay in the Think London Bridge apartments.

We caught up with Emily to hear all about her weekend away with her husband and daughter.

How was weekend away in London?
We had a great time thank you; it was really nice to get away just before the Christmas rush!

 

What did you think of the Think London Bridge?
The hotel was really nice - the location was great. It was really clean and roomy and it had a little kitchen in the apartment which was great - we ate in the 1st night once we had arrived and had breakfast in the hotel every day. We were really close to London Bridge which was great as we took our daughter with us and didn't have to walk far.

 

Was the service good?
My husband checked in so we didn't really see much of the staff but it was really clean and there was a hamper in our room with pasta, a bottle of wine and all the essentials so that was really nice.

What did you get up to during your stay?
On the first day we visited the Natural History Museum which my daughter loved. We were quite tired afterwards though so we got a takeaway back at the apartment. The next day was really busy! We went to the Enchanted Christmas House on the Southbank, which was great for kids as they get to meet Santa and watch a Christmas show. Then we wandered around the Christmas market, had a ride on the carousel (which my daughter just loved, she could have gone round and round it all day!) and the London Eye. We went to Wagamamas on the South Bank for dinner then headed back to the apartment. On the Sunday we were going to go to Hamleys before heading home but it was absolutely packed so we didn't do that in the end but we had a great time.

Would you recommend the hotel to a friend?

Yes the location is excellent; it's just by London Bridge! It is a bit officey around the area but it really didn't matter and we really enjoyed our stay - thank you very much!
