Cala San Vincente is one of the most scenic areas in Mallorca, situated on the breathtaking north coast between the town of Pollensa and its harbour. The resort has three beaches, and Cala Barques is the largest and prettiest of the three, offering visitors the choice of a few small restaurants, bars and shops, along with ample sun beds, beach umbrellas and pedaloes for hire. A pleasant evening meal and a couple of quiet drinks are as fast-paced as the nightlife gets. Puerto Pollensa is a short drive away, and is a larger town with quaint narrow streets, stone houses and arty cafes. There are excellent walks and fascinating prehistoric caves. Cala San Vicente is approximately 60km north of the capital Palma.
