Tonsai Village is the bustling heart of Phi Phi and has no cars or roads, only footpaths. It's located on the isthmus, with Tonsai Bay on the south side and Loh Dalum on the north. In the evening the streets fill with diners enjoying fresh seafood, and as most business is done at night, the tour shops, dive shops and every other kind of shop come to life. Phi Phi is ideal for scuba diving, snorkelling, kayaking or climbing with crystal clear waters teeming with colourful marine life and paths of lush jungle. Loh Dalum has silky soft white sand and turquoise water with a chorus of birdsong - and all year round there are no waves. A few relaxed beach bars play cool music and Sunflower, located at the east end of the beach, has live music weekly and features a pool table directly in the sand.
