Hotels In Lake Garda (Verona)

The Lake Garda Area is outstandingly stunning and picturesque, offering the visitor an amazing choice of places to see and things to do. From the amazingly scenic towns of Sirmione, Lazise and Salo, which can be visited by road or by paddle steamer, to golf courses, sailing, cycling and water sports, there is something for everyone in the area. Lake Garda is divided into four areas each with its own individual attractions and environment. South East Lake Garda is ideal for families and features the theme parks, Zoo, museums and the beautiful towns of Garda, Bardolino, Lazise and Sirmione. The South West has a more lively atmosphere especially around Desenzano, but is quiet and peaceful around San Felice, Salo and the Gardone Riviera. North East Lake Garda is more mountainous and there is a cable car that travels to the top of the mountain at Malcesine. The sailing and windsurfing activities take place at Torbole and Riva. Finally the North West of Lake Garda has mountains reaching right down to the lakeside at the lovely town of Limone.
