Playa Fanabe on the Costa Adeje in southern Tenerife is a much-loved, laid back resort located three kilometres from the island’s leading holiday hotspot, Playa de las Americas. Visited by families, young couples and older people, Playa Fanabe’s town centre is an intricate maze of narrow streets bustling with boutiques, bars and restaurants. There is certainly plenty to occupy you during a break from lazing on the beach. Playa Fanabe beach is wide and sandy, and well served by restaurant and water-sports facilities There are several good golf courses in the area, the nearest of which is at La Caleta, a five minute drive away.
