Sant Lluis is a quiet village with a range of facilities - supermarkets, restaurants and bars, chemists, banks and transport connections to Mahon. Founded by the French in 1761 during their occupation of Menorca, Count l'Annion, then Governor of Menorca, ordered the village to be built around a church - dedicated to Louis IX. The West front of the Church features the coat of arms of the French royal family. |
