The resort of Binibeca lies on the south east coast about 8 km from Mahon and the international Aeropuerto de Menorca. This beautiful 3 km stretch of beautiful golden sand has all the amenities desired for a fun and relaxing holiday. Sun loungers, pedaloes, beach bars for drinks and snacks, and an array of water sports activities are all available. Nearby Cala Torret offers plenty of entertainment with an array of bars and restaurants, most of which are overlooking the sea. There is a train that goes around the local area and neighbouring resorts which is reasonably priced for return journeys. A good place to stop is Binibeca Vell which was designed in 1972 to recreate an old fishing village. This is ideal for tourists because it contains a supermarket, souvenir shop, restaurants, bars and sporting activities.
