The popular city of Dusseldorf is located in Western Germany on the banks of the River Rhine. This modern and vibrant city is great for exploring, Altstadt (the old town) is a great place to start, also known as the longest bar in the world and home to over 300 bars and pubs, the Media Harbour features some interesting architecture and Konigsallee is a shopper’s paradise with elegant shopping arcades. Dusseldorf is also home to one of the biggest cultural events ‘Dusseldorfer Karneval’ which starts on the 11th November at 11.11 and features a huge parade through the city.
