A residential beach suburb east of Ibiza, Figueretas, has an international flavor with a mixture of locals and tourists. Restaurants, bars, cafes, and a long beach promenade attract all age groups. The promenade is particularly lovely on soft summer nights. Its fun to grab an ice cream and stroll down while browsing at the market stalls temporarily set up to sell local handicrafts. The promenade also has a wide selection of bars and restaurants with fine sea views. Even a few British pubs can be found in Figueretas serving up English fare and entertainment. The small beach community offers popular hotels and apartments and is in close proximity to Ibiza Town. Figuereta is a great place to recharge the batteries, play at the beach with the kids, or sit and watch the sunset while enjoying a fine meal. For a little night life, nearby is the resort of Playa d'en Bossa, (where a water park is also located that the kids will love). All in all, a relaxed and laid back beach town sure to be an enjoyable destination.
