Beach holidays in Ibiza

The island is home to 57 different beaches. No matter where you stay on the island, you are only an hour’s drive at the very most away from catching some rays by the Mediterranean Sea (or a short comfortable stroll at the very least!). Carla Carbo is a small, secluded spot best for sunbathing on the pebbles with a good book, whereas the sandy bay resort of Santa Eulalia is more family friendly with two vibrant beaches.

Other great beaches include the easy to reach Talamanca, a short 15-minute walk from Ibiza town and the party people beach of Las Salinas. You can get involved in watersports along most of the coast if you fancy a spot of kayaking, windsurfing, canoeing or the classic banana boats!

Food and drink in Ibiza

Ibiza has plenty of restaurants, bars, cafes and tavernas to choose from, serving delicious food and drink all around the island. Beachfront restaurant Amante is a great spot to relax with a meal and glass of wine.

Local cuisine is cooked up with fresh ingredients and tapas is popular when eating as a group. Classic Ibiza dishes like Arroz de Matanzas-Pork, Sirvia and Grouper are a must try. Make sure you try a famous Ibiza pastry tart made from goat's and sheep's cheese for a true local delicacy!
Nightlife

Ibiza has hundreds of nightclubs from more intimate venues to world-famous super clubs like Pacha and Space. Playa d’en Bossa and San Antonio are the main party resorts hosting the biggest DJs in the world. Party season is from May to early October and the club closing parties are legendary.

If clubbing isn’t your scene there are plenty of laid-back bars and the quieter town of Santa Eulalia has a more traditional Spanish vibe with late night promenades, tapas and live music.
