Though not far from the crowds of Lindos, Lardos retains its natural beauty along with its typically Greek atmosphere. On the south east coast, seven kilometres west of Lindos, life here revolves around the beach and the village square, from which you can wander about the village and explore the local church and traditional houses, or simply pull up a chair to watch one of the local backgammon games and watch the world go by. The long sand and shingle beach is the perfect place to relax and unwind, offering all you need, with sunbeds, umbrellas and watersports, as well as a cool sea breeze to temper the sun's heat.
