Samos Town is the commercial hub of the island, and combines tourist attractions with administrative buildings in an attractive package. Situated on the northeast coast of the island, both modern Samos Town and the Old Town have plenty of atmosphere and attract those looking for a chic and sophisticated holiday The town beach is pebble, but if you crave a sandy beach there are buses running to Psili Ammos (there is another beach which shares this name near Kambos) in high season.
