Santa Eulalia is the third largest resort on the South East coast of the island of Ibiza and is a beloved destination for families and those seeking a serene holiday. A beautiful promenade lines a long sandy beach that is very child friendly and offers excellent watersports facilities. The whole avenue is lined with hotels, apartments and beach food restaurants and is famous as the island's gastronomic and cultural centre. At the end of the promenade is the beautiful Mariner's Beach. From here visitors can stroll along the only river in the Baleares as far as an ancient Roman bridge to the lovely beach of Calo De S'Alga. The Santa Eulalia Express departs daily from outside the Town Hall and offers a scenic tour of the town and surrounding countryside.. The Ibiza Express is another little road train exploring the beautiful countryside of northern Ibiza. Ferry journeys to Ibiza Town from Santa Eulalia harbour (45 minutes) are also extremely popular as are day trips across to the neighbouring island of Formentera. The nearby "hippy market" takes place every Wednesday attracting holidaymakers from all over the island.
