Cala Tarida offers a stunning, well-equipped beach located just 4 miles west of San Jose. It is the longest and widest beach of fine white sand on the west side of Ibiza island. Flat rocks shaped by wind and sea form natural platforms for sunbathing at either end of the beach or you can swim out to some of the rocks in the shallow waters for some solitary tanning time. The water is shallow so ideal for children, and there are sailing boats and pedalos for hire as well as a couple of good beach restaurants, from which you'll see the most wonderful sunsets.
