Kanoni is a perfect base for exploring Corfu. Located just 3km from the Corfu Town, on the island's east coast, the peninsula offers fantastic views of Mouse Island and Perama. There are several sand and shingle beaches to be found around Kanoni, many slightly off the tourist trail, and therefore slightly quieter. This is s great place to stay for those wishing to explore and relax at the same time. Kanoni is charming, authentically Greek, with a selection of bars and restaurants. The livelier nightlife is in Corfu Town, which can be easily reached by car, or by taxi. The lovely bays around this area are a host to a multitude of boats, and an aura of relaxation, peace, and ultimate tranquillity is one which easily comes through the air, but it is the spectacular colour of the calm turquoise waters, contrasting with the whitewashed buildings on the olive green hillsides which will take your breath away.
