Situated in the middle of the Bahia de Alcudia in northern Majorca, Playa de Muro (also known as Platja de Muro) is a relatively new development. It is part of a bay which has a total of seven kilometres of clean white sand. Thanks also to its associated water sports, it has become one of the island's best-regarded beaches. The reserve consists of wetland, marsh and dunes, and is home to all sorts of birdlife, with a remarkable 230 species attracted to this rich area.
