Why should I book my hotel with Hotels4U.com?

Our site enables a large number of hotels & apartments to publish their best available rates online. You have the opportunity to browse over 100,000 properties all in one place comparing rates and availability.

Are flights included in the price?

We are an accommodation only supplier. We advise you that you make sure that there is availability for flights for your selected destination before you book accommodation via our website.

Are the prices on your site per person or per room?

All prices displayed are the total cost, inclusive of all rooms and guests, unless stated otherwise.

Do I pay a reservation fee?

No, we will not charge you a reservation fee.

I want to book more than 3 rooms at once, can I do this?

Yes, but you will need to speak to our reservations department 0844 875 3455 (0044 1784 270 062 from overseas) or reservations@hotels4u.com and they will be able to assist you.

I want to book different combinations of rooms, can I do this?

Our site does not allow different room types to be booked on the same reservation. You will need to make more than one booking if you require different room types. Alternatively you will need to speak to our reservations department 0844 875 3455 (0044 1784 270 062 from overseas) or reservations@hotels4u.com and they will be able to assist you.

Do you offer special discounts (for seniors, airlines employees, etc)?

We offer the best available rates for the dates of your stay. Discounts are already included and therefore it is not normally possible to have any other discount on the confirmed price. Occasionally we may offer a promotion code. Please click here to see the latest promotion code.

Is there a difference if I book through the call centre?

No. If the hotel you have chosen is available to be booked online then this is the quickest method of making a reservation but there is no additional charge for booking via the call centre.

How do I know it is safe to book online?

Using your credit card to book your room online with Hotels4U.com is 100% secure. Hotels4U.com use the most up-to-date encryption to keep your credit card details safe.

If I change my mind can I cancel or amend my booking?

Bookings can be amended subject to paying an admin fee and any difference in price for the new booking and any cancellations are subject to cancellation charges.

What do your star ratings mean?

The star ratings used by Hotels4U.com are intended to standardise what can be a confusing array of official gradings. They represent our opinion about the standard of an accommodation based on other properties in the area but should not be considered as an official rating. Where possible we will include the official rating in the hotel description.

How do I know that my reservation is confirmed?

We will send you a confirmation email to tell you that your booking has been made.

How many rooms can I book in one reservation?

A maximum of 3 rooms can be booked in any one reservation if available. If you require more than 3 rooms please contact our reservations department 0844 875 3455 (0044 1784 270 062 from overseas) or reservations@hotels4u.com and they will be able to assist you.

What are the check-in and check-out times of a hotel?

The check-in and check-out times differ from property to property, but in general the times are check-in 14:00 and check-out 10:00. Where possible we will include this information in the hotel description.

Who do I contact if I have a problem overseas?

All enquiries and problems in resort should be reported to your hotel reception at your earliest convenience. You must ensure that you give them and the hotel management every possible opportunity to rectify any problems you may have. The hotels4u overseas supplier contact details will be listed on your accommodation voucher should you require further assistance.

What if I have a problem which is not resolved when I am on holiday?

Naturally we hope that any issue with the service provided by Hotels4U, or one of our suppliers, will be resolved at the time. However, please contact our Customer Services Department at the address on the website. This should be done as soon as possible and in any event, within 28 days of your return.

Will there be a representative to meet us?

Please note that Hotels4u.com/Medhotels.com do not employ representatives . However our handling agents may be at the airport and may run a welcome meeting at your hotel, in the event this is not the case then contact numbers for them can be found upon the hotel/transfer voucher.

Do I need to contact Hotels4U.com to confirm my booking?

No, the booking confirmation is automated.

I perform a search for a particular resort I but I cannot find the hotel I want

Either the particular hotel is not a supplier of ours, or there is no availability on that hotel for the particular dates you are searching.

I cancelled my hotel reservation. When will I be refunded?

A refund normally can take up to 7 working days to reach your account.

What do I need to take to the hotel to check in?

You will need to take a copy of your accommodation voucher which will allow you to check into the hotel you booked. You may also need to provide your passport.

Can I change or cancel my non-refundable reservation?

Non refundable rooms cannot be amended or cancelled. All money paid is non refundable.

Can I make a special request or preference such as bed type, early check in, cots etc?

You may make a special request at the time of booking by filling in the special request box. Please note that the hotel will try to accommodate your request but this cannot be guaranteed.

I’ve not received my booking confirmation, what should I do?

Contact our reservations team on 0844 875 3455 (0044 1784 270 062 from overseas) or reservations@hotels4u.com and they will be able to assist you.

Do I need to notify you if I am taking golf clubs, wheelchairs, or a bicycle on a transfer?

Yes we do need to notify our transfer company in advance and sometimes an extra charge will apply of which we will inform you.
