Please note – Due to local laws imposed by the Goan government the sale and public consumption of alcoholic drinks is prohibited on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th March, which is when the local Goan elections will be taking place. This restriction is applicable to hotels, bars, restaurants, supermarkets and any other outlets serving alcohol. Guests can drink privately in their own rooms but not in public.
