Hotel Facilities

The food and beverage facilities at the Quinta Splendida hotel include the gourmet restaurant La Perla, the Thai Lounge, Galeria Restaurant, Bar Siddhartha & Bar and the Globe with evening entertainment. There is a health centre with sauna, steam bath and Jacuzzi and activities such as billiard and table tennis that are free for guests. The Spa Tep Panom (extra charges) offers an oasis of luxury Spa suites, indoor pool, spa & wellness facilities and 10 treatment rooms with an extensive treatment list. There is a 24-hour reception service, an art gallery, meeting facilities, a library, regular wine tasting and garden tour and a complimentary shuttle bus to Funchal. Internet is free for guests at the PC in a public area. Car Parking: €2 per day subject to changes.

Please note access to the Spa is only complimentary to guests booking suites. If booking other room types guests need to pay locally for access to the Spa which also includes the Indoor Pool.

Please note children under 16 years are not permitted in the spa.

Please note Half board guests staying the Spa Suite will have their dinner in the La Perla Restaurant (Gourmet, a la carte) while all other clients staying in other room types will have dinner at Galleria Restaurant (main restaurant).

Room Facilities

The Quinta Splendida hotel has 166 rooms in total, 141 are made up of doubles, studios, apartments and 25 Spa Suites. Double rooms feature a bathroom with hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone, safe (extra charge) and mini-bar. Studios and apartments feature bathroom with shower and hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone, safe (extra charge), kitchen and a small garden area or balcony.

Spa Suites are furnished in contemporary cutting-edge elegance conveying a spiritual sense of space with solid wood flooring throughout with under-floor heating, floor-to-ceiling framed windows, interactive controlled curtain system, and interactive sound system. All of them have a private terrace with stylish outdoor furniture and spectacular Atlantic sea views over the Nature Reserve Desertas Islands, luxurious bathroom fittings, and sumptuous bathrobes. Other suites` facilities are a 42” plasma screen with Satellite TV, DVD, PC with complimentary internet access, in-room safe, mini-bar and full complimentary access to the Quinta Splendida Spa.

No children under the age of 16 are permitted into the Spa Suites.
