Food, drink and entertainment: Half Board accommodation. The Riu Arecas Hotel has a main restaurant for breakfast and dinner buffet service with show cooking and delicious choices with a theme evening each week. The poolside snack bar is open for light a la carte lunches and snacks. Live music and shows are presented several times a week.

Sports, games and activities: Two swimming pools (one heated), children's swimming pool (heated in winter), sun terrace, complimentary sun loungers, changing rooms, towels and parasols by the pool, sand terrace, children's playground, table tennis, Billiards (charged), and two floodlit tennis courts (with charge). The hotel is 250 m from Playa del Duque beach (several steps lead to the beach) and there are assorted water sports available at nearby Playa de Fanabe, 18-hole golf courses, and bicycle hire. Guests may enjoy the facilities at the neighbouring Hotel Riu Palace Tenerife such as the "Body Love" health and beauty centre with a beauty salon, massages, and more (add. charge).

The Riu Arecas Hotel features 371 spacious double rooms that can accommodate up to three people and can also be booked for single use. All rooms have a bathroom with bidet, hairdryer, carpeted floor, telephone, central air conditioning, ceiling fan, mini-bar, Satellite TV, music channel, in-room safe (additional charge), and balcony.
