The complex is 1 km from the pedestrianised centre of Cala d'or with a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops. Apartments can also be booked on an All Inclusive basis. Sol Cala D Or Apartments has a bar and restaurant as well as a snack bar.

Sports, games and activities: Fresh water swimming pool set amidst spacious Mediterranean style gardens and sun terrace solarium, sun beds and umbrellas, children's pool, playground, mini club (in July and in August onlu, pool table, table tennis. Nearby activities include tennis, diving, windsurfing, and the Vall d'Or golf course.

Additional: 24 hour reception and currency exchange, safe rental, air conditioned throughout, lifts, luggage room, public Internet, laundry service, medical service, car parking, maid service is also provided three times a week, undertaking a change of towels and change of bed linen once each week. The Sol Cala D Or Apartments features 151 guest rooms, including 99 self catering apartments with a double bedroom and a lounge for up to 4 people, and a further 52 studio flats for two people, all of which are built over 4 floors and set amidst large Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area. All guest rooms have conditioning, fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower, open plan kitchenette with two electric cooking rings, an oven with grill, toaster and kettle, a combined lounge/dining room with two additional sofa beds, direct dial telephone, Satellite TV, safety deposit box (extra charge payable locally), and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.
