Food, drink and entertainment: The two main buffet restaurants at the SUNRISE Select Royal Makadi Resort offer an assorted buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Asian, Mediterranean, Bedouin and Italian restaurants offer authentic cuisine with a la carte menus (reservations required for all). There are 4 pool snack bars, a beach bar, 24 hour lobby bar, Shisha corner, and an Amphitheatre.

Sports, games and activities: Five sparkling free-form swimming pools (two heated in winter), sun terraces with free sun loungers and parasols, aqua centre, beach volleyball and soccer at the beach, 4 tennis courts (with flood light), table tennis, nearby diving centre and windsurfing station, 6 km long jogging at the beach, Kid's WORLD club with large playground and pool, daily changing animation and sports program with multi-national team, Spa Centre with gym equipment (Spa min. age is 16, gim min. age is 12)sauna and Jacuzzi, and massage cabins (against charge, min age 16 years), 18 hole PGA golf championship course in 15 km distance.

Room Facilities

The Sunrise Royal Makadi Resort features over 330 luxurious rooms that can accommodate up to 3 adults (or 2 adults plus 2 children), all with shower room, Satellite TV, mini fridge, individually controlled air conditioning and heating, safe, and a balcony or terrace with garden or pool views. Included in this are 144 family rooms with a separate lounge and bedrooms available for up to 4 people. Free baby cot is available on request.

AI light rooms: Customers booking the special offer AI light rooms will receive the standard AI as listed in the description but with the following services removed, Imported alcoholic drinks, a la carte restaurants and the SPA discount voucher.  These services come with an extra charge when booking this room type
